Standing In The Face Of Adversity
You may need your Bible, a pen & notebook to complete these lessons. You should be able to copy and paste these outlines to your word processor and print them without difficulty if you so desire. We recommend you record in your note book deep thoughts or questions that may arise as you study, and certainly record all things God reveals to your heart. Look over these notes frequently and use them even as you pray. God will cause you to grow in wisdom and understanding. Keep your note book with you throughout the day as much as possible to record all God reveals to you and to review the things you have learned. Look up all bible verses in this study. Highlight or mark them in your bible. It is Gods Word speaking directly to you.
We also recommend you make a habit of memorizing a scripture each week. This not only helps get the Word deep in your heart, but is also an excellent mental exercise.

"How do I position myself to receive?"

HOW WE STAND UNTIL THE VICTORY
COMES
1.
Stay connected to the Lord
" I am the vine, you are the
branches..." (John 15:5)
" In Him we live and move and have our
being..." Acts 17:28"

Continue to walk in His will
~ notice in Exodus 40 Moses finished the
work. After the work is completed (vs. 33) the glory of the Lord filled the
tabernacle.
3. Have patience (endurance,
perseverance)
Romans
12:2
James 1:4...That you may be perfec (entire) and
complete, lacking
nothing.
4.
Fight the good fight of faith.
"...the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God".
~ Notice in Matthew 4:1-10 Jesus is tempted by sata and defeats him using the Word of God
- Sound Advice: Speak in line with God's Word, never contrary to it.
When you have done everything you can to stand, you have done
everything YOU can.
GOD OF THE EXTRAORDINARY
The Lord is the extra you need with your ordinary
He is the super you need with your natural
The battle is the Lords and the victory is ours!
EXPECT the supernatural.
~ Remember 2Kings 4:1-7
The jar of oil filled all the vessels that the women and her sons had gathered.
~ Remember Genesis 18
Sara conceived in her old age (and the Lord asked "Is anything to hard for the Lord")
~ Remember Noah and the Ark
~ Remember how the Red Sea was parted for Moses and they all "Crossed as on dry ground"
~ Remember how the wall of Jerico crumbled at the blast of some trumpets
~ Remember Daniel survived a night in a den full of hungry lions
~ AND REMEMBER HEBREWS 11:40 STATES THAT GOD, IN JESUS, PROVIDED SOMETHING BETTER FOR US!
