FAITH - LESSON 10
MOVING GOD'S HAND
You may need your Bible, a pen & notebook to complete these lessons. You should be able to copy and paste these outlines to your word processor and print them without difficulty if you so desire. We recommend you record in your note book deep thoughts or questions that may arise as you study, and certainly record all things God reveals to your heart. Look over these notes frequently and use them even as you pray. God will cause you to grow in wisdom and understanding. Keep your note book with you throughout the day as much as possible to record all God reveals to you and to review the things you have learned. Look up all bible verses in this study. Highlight or mark them in your bible. It is Gods Word speaking directly to you.

We also recommend you make a habit of memorizing a scripture each week. This not only helps get the Word deep in your heart, but is also an excellent mental exercise.

Moving God’s Hand

Faith moves God’s hand. From Genesis to Revelation the Holy Bible makes clear God is not moved by our lack or need, but rather by the faith that refuses to accept these shortcomings as the will of God. Over and over in scripture we see men and women of God receive answers to otherwise impossible situations. David kills a lion and a bear with his bare hands and a great warrior named Goliath with a stone and a slingshot! Daniel sleeps with hungry lions and wakes unharmed. Three Hebrew boys are thrown into a fiery furnace only to walk out perfectly whole without even the smell of smoke upon them. The list is almost endless.
Jesus shows us faith in action over and over throughout the gospels and teaches us how to walk in this grace also. Than He goes to the cross and enables us to not just “call on God” but to be filled with the Spirit of God!
The Word makes plain how the Spirit filled believer is to combat the enemy. From the Words perspective all good things come from God and everything else is not His will. It’s high time we decided to line up our thinking in agreement with God’s word. For example:
~James 1:16-17 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (In other words He never changes about this!!!)
~John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

1. Realize faith is the key to moving God’s hand.
    Mark 11:22-24

2. Cast the fear out!
Genesis 15:1 (Fear not!) & 1Timothy 6:17 (Trust God!)
    - Fear opens the door to the devil. Faith opens the door to God!

3. Your faith filled words release your God given authority
Mark 11:23-24 & Deuteronomy 30:14-15

4. Be Confident, determined and sure!
Luke 18:1-8 & Matthew 11:12
    Mark 9:23 & Matthew 19:26 & Mark 10:27 & Luke 18:27
    - Faith stops at the question mark in your heart! -We must trust and remain confident.

Conclusion: When you stay confident in God and remain determined, nothing shall be impossible to you. All the troubles and distractions life throws your way are no match for the God given authority living on the inside of you. You can determine your future by the faith you wield today. Speak to your circumstances what you see in faith and watch them change into your will! This is what God has empowered us to be! Vessel’s filled with His grace and anointing, sharing His love and light profusely. Stay connected to Him in fervent prayer every day and you shall walk in His will accurately, fulfilling your part in His eternal plan. Faith isn’t for our carnal selfish desires. Faith is to be used for His kingdom purposes. Let’s live for God and once again “turn the world upside down!”
